" . . . as a bridegroom rejoices over his bride, so will your God rejoice over you." Isaiah 62:5

We believe at Jamie Carte Ministries (J.C.M.) and The Word Of Life Center that Jesus Christ is the Bridegroom and His beautiful Bride is the Church. You may say "I've tried church," or maybe you've never set foot in one. What we want you to know is that first, Jesus loves you. But more than that, He is in love with you! He would rather die than be without you. He's been wooing you all your life. And today He wants you to be a part of His Bride.

In 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 (AMP) it tells us : "For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a loud cry of summons, with the shout of an archangel, and with the blast of the trumpet of God. And those who have departed this life in Christ will rise first. Then we, the living ones who remain [on the earth], shall simultaneously be caught up along with [the resurrected dead] in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air; and so always (through the eternity of the eternities) we shall be with the Lord!"

The day that all this will happen is called "the Rapture." The ones who are still here, who remain, on the Earth on this day shall meet Jesus, The Bridegroom in the air. The Bride will meet Her Bridegroom in the air. That's right, we're gonna take flight! This is what we call the wedding day for Jesus and His Bride.

In order for you to be with Jesus either before or on that day, you must put your trust in Him. Romans 10:9-10 (NIV) states: "That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved."

Don't put Him off any longer. He wants you. You've been on His mind so much. And no matter what you have done, or even where you are right now as you read this, He wants you. Will you receive Him? Believe with all your heart and confess with your mouth this prayer:

"Jesus, I know I have done wrong and that I am a sinner and I need a Savior. I believe you died on a cross for my sins, you were buried for three days and then rose from the dead. I ask you to come into my life and save me, free me, and clean me. I confess today that you are Lord of my life. I will follow you for the rest of my days, in Jesus Name, I believe I receive. Amen"

If you said that prayer and you meant it, you have just come into the Bride of Christ! Your name has been written in the Lamb's Book of Life. You have made the most important decision of your whole life!

THERE IS MORE, BELOVED!

Once you have received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, it is the Will of The Lord for you to have the fullness of the Holy Spirit. In Acts 1:4-5 (NIV) it reads:

"On one occasion, while he was eating with them, he gave them this command: "Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about. For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit."" Then in Acts 2:4 what Jesus said happened! "All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them."

When you are baptized in the Holy Spirit you will have evidence of it by speaking in tongues just like they did at the day of Pentecost. When you pray in tongues, you pray in the Spirit. You are letting the Holy Spirit pray through your spirit. If you desire the infilling of the Holy Spirit, pray the prayer below and believe you receive:

"Lord Jesus, I am a new creature in Christ and I ask you to baptize me in the Holy Spirit and enable me to be a powerful witness to the world about you. I believe that I receive this gift just like the disciples did on the day of Pentecost."

Get into a Spirit-filled church. One that praises and worships the Lord Jesus and teaches the Bible in its fullness. One that is truly alive. Start asking Jesus where He wants you, and He'll show you. Also, start reading your Bible every day and praying (talking to Him) every day.
